Sting Gym offers training in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, MMA, Boxing, Self Defence, Fitness and Kids classes.  We will help you to achieve your goals, whether it be to get fit, improve your health and or self-defence skills.

We also offer specialised services for those who aspire to make a career out of combat sports.

Our classes simulate a fighters training program.
Initially you will work in large and small groups, under the supervision of our qualified training staff.
Coaching staff will work through various boxing, kickboxing and conditioning drills with you focusing on form and technique.
Each workout runs for 60 minutes.

TECHNIQUE & FITNESS

Sting Gym Kickboxing classes are designed to introduce members to the fundamentals of Full Contact Kickboxing and Muay Thai & Boxing while providing an exciting, high energy workout.

It has been proven that the best way to increase lean muscle mass, cardiovascular health and decrease unwanted body fat in a limited amount of time is by interval training. This is done by doing low resistance, intense cardio work in a short period of time (2–3-minute rounds) then slowing the heart rate down by doing a higher resistance exercise during the (1 minute rest period).  This allows everyone regardless of fitness or skill level to get their heart rate up at a level that is ideal for them to improve their overall ability to perform, then drop it back down and improve recovery time.  All our classes use the interval training concept.  At Sting Gym light to moderate contact is applied to insure effectiveness and integrity of the drills. This is the introductory part to competing, where students develop confidence and self-defence abilities.

Sting Gym Team has a legacy of training professional fighters for over twenty years.  Our instructors and students have competed on the state, national and international arena and have been featured in the K-1 & IKBF.  Whether your ambition is to fight competitively, learn to defend yourself or just to get in shape, you will find that training alongside our professional fighters will inspire you to get the best results.
